Principal's Message
Welcome to our incredible school community, where every day is an opportunity to rise, grow, and achieve! It is truly an honor to serve as your principal and be part of a school where students, staff, and families work together to create a positive, supportive, and high-achieving environment.

Hello Phoenix Family!
I’m Ms. Ana Maria Gonzalez, your Assistant Principal, and I’m thrilled to welcome you to another exciting school year at Flora Ridge! With 20 years in education, eight of those right here at Flora Ridge. I am proud to be part of a school community that truly values inclusivity, growth, and excellence.
At Flora Ridge, we have built a nurturing environment where students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. As we begin this new school year, my goal is to continue supporting our staff, students, and families in creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning space where ALL students can soar.
As a school community, we remain committed to working toward our goals and soaring beyond expectations. We encourage our students to stay focused, rise above challenges, and persevere in everything they do. Through determination, resilience, and a growth mindset, we know our Phoenix family will continue to SOAR beyond expectations.
We believe every student has the potential to succeed, and we encourage active participation in the many opportunities available, from academic programs like AVID Ambassadors, NJHS, and Battle of the Books, to extracurricular activities such as track, soccer, and safety patrol. We want every student to strive for their personal best and develop a strong sense of belonging within our school community.
