Principal's Message
Hey there Phoenix! I am Mrs. Nicholson, the proud Principal of Flora Ridge. We are the home of the Phoenix, where we are ready to SOAR! I am humbled and honored to serve the Flora community and proud to be a Phoenix! I have 17 years of experience in education and believe in giving students opportunities to highlight their talents.
I am proud of our amazing staff and students for highlighting the GREAT Osceola County has to offer. Our staff is dedicated to student achievement and partnering with families to help ALL students grow.
We are a PBIS model school, an AVID embedded school and highlight our student's talent with talent clusters. We offer many opportunities for students to SOAR, such as: soccer, track and field, cross country, Dual Language, Battle of the Books, Odyssey of the Mind, Best Buddies, 21st Century, Disney Musical in Schools and Ballet (K-2).
We firmly believe in the ultimate goal and theme at Flora, YOU BELONG! ALL students contribute to our GREAT and we are so lucky to have a diverse population, that allows us to learn from one another. We keep the community involved and informed using Facebook, REMIND and our website. We are excited for the partnership in your child's education. At Flora Ridge, we SOAR to success!

Assistant Principal's Message
Hello Phoenix Family!
I am Ms. Gonzalez, your Assistant Principal. I am delighted to extend a warm greeting to you all. I have been in education for 17 years, six of which have been right here at Flora Ridge. I’m very proud of the inclusive environment we have created and continue to foster. One where students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
As we embark together on this new school year my goal will be to continue to support staff, students, and families in creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment where ALL students can thrive.
At Flora Ridge we believe that all students can SOAR and we encourage our students to participate and take advantage of the numerous opportunities available from academic programs (Avid Ambassadors, NJHS, Battle of the Books) to extracurricular activities (track, soccer, safety patrol) and to always strive for their personal best.
Parents, your involvement is crucial to our success. We value your input and look forward to working with you this year to support your child’s education.
