What is Bullying?

Bullying occurs when a stronger or more powerful child repeatedly hurts, threatens, or torments a more vulnerable child.

1. Bullying is Intentional

2. Bullying is a Repeated offense

3. Bullying is marked by an Imbalance of Power between the bully and the victim.

If you believe you are bullied or if you see someone being bullied, immediately report this to your teacher, lunch duty staff member, guidance counselor, administrator, or any other adult on this school campus. You can also drop a note in the box found in the Media Center or call the Speak Out hotline at 800-226-7733.
