A message from
Mr. Hodges

Dear Parents,

Your support throughout the first half of the year has been instrumental in the success of your child.  I want to thank you for the commitment you have made to your child’s education and their journey as a student. It is through teamwork and persistence that we can help your child reach greater heights.

Learning will continue to be our focus up to the last day of school.  We encourage you to monitor the parent portal, the school website, and your child’s agenda for important information.  We have reached the dates for our annual state assessments.  Grades 3-5 will take part in showing what they know on FSA Reading, FSA Math, and Science FCAT (5th grade only).  Daily attendance is critical; for all students. Their presence at school guarantees they have every opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed.  We appreciate every effort you make to ensure your child is here and on time daily.

In addition to spring testing, we will also be hosting various family nights.  This is a great opportunity for the entire family to have fun and enjoy academically based experiences.

Please know, we are always looking for people to help out at the school.  If you are interested in volunteer opportunities, please contact Riquelmi Diaz at extension 62300.  She can walk you through the process of becoming an OASIS volunteer. You can begin by visiting www.osceolaschools.net/OASIS.  We look forward to working in partnership with you.

Once again, thank you for all that you do to support your child and our school’s mission to provide the best education for all.

Sincerely,

Peter Hodges
